Turning Support Into Outcomes

Central Scholarship’s impact is reflected not only in individual success stories, but in the collective outcomes of the scholars we serve. By removing financial barriers and investing in student potential, we help scholars persist through college and career training, graduate at higher rates, and step confidently into their futures. Their outcomes demonstrate how access to support can translate into measurable success for students who are often underrepresented in higher education.

Degree: Accounting

Michael attended the Community College of Baltimore County, where he pursued Accounting, a field that aligned with his strengths and passion for numbers. After earning his Bachelor of Science, Michael explored several career paths before discovering that finance, accounting, and investments truly resonated with him. Drawn to the logic and structure of the profession, he set his sights on becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with the long-term goal of opening his own firm. In the future, Michael hopes to help individuals better understand their money and protect what they’ve worked hard to earn by providing smart financial and tax planning.
