CENTRAL SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCES $50,000 GRANT FROM THE CHARLES CRANE FAMILY FOUNDATION
Funds to be earmarked for Jewish Education.
Baltimore, MD (April 4th, 2012)- Central Scholarship announces a $50,000 commitment from the Charles Crane Family Foundation to be used for Jewish education. This funding will be for the fourth year of the Charles Crane Scholarship program that is currently at Central Scholarship. The program has already funded 23 students who are pursuing a wide range of Judaic studies.
Funds from this grant will be specifically earmarked for students focused on Judaic studies. Funding can be used for the following:
- High school graduates planning to spend a year pursuing postsecondary Judaic studies full time in Israel;
- Students already enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university who want to spend a semester or an academic year engaging in Judaic studies at an institution in Israel; or
- Students who have declared a Jewish Studies major at any U.S. or Israeli college, university, yeshiva or seminary
