President Biden's SAVE plan is moving forward in the release process; check out these details released by their office just this past week:
"Starting in February, we will begin forgiving the remaining federal student loan balance for borrowers who
✅ are on the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan;
✅ originally borrowed $12,000 or less to attend school; and
✅ have at least 10 years of payment history.
It does not matter if your outstanding balance is higher than what you originally borrowed. Learn more about early forgiveness and other benefits in 2024: StudentAid.gov/save"
Additionally, the 2024 FAFSA has officially been released, and Central Scholarship wants to help you navigate the significant changes that could affect you, your students, or members of your community.
Mark Kantrowitz, nationally recognized FAFSA expert and author, will be teaming up with board member David Levy to deliver a comprehensive webinar that tackles the changes to FAFSA, ways to locate financial aid, and more, on Presidents day: February 19th, 2024, from 1-3 PM.
